SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it's alarmed concerning the superior amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. “In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to allow the servicing of all shoppers and enhance entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
